Pictures of the New Place

November 8th

Our new digs, as of mid-December. Pictures on the other side of the break.

Behold the view from the Kitchen toward the Front Bedroom:
Overview from Kitchen
Shauna: “This is an overview of the place looking from the kitchen through the living room into the front bedroom, where we’ll likely be sleeping.”
Jamie: “I get to sleep there when I’ve been good.”

A corner of the Living Room:
Living Room
Shauna: “This is our living room. I dig the swirly stuff on the walls.”
Jamie: “I dig the floor and the cable hookup.”

The Kitchen:
Kitchen 1
Shauna: “I <3 my kitchen"
Jamie: “She means my kitchen.”

Front Bedroom, looking back toward the Kitchen:
Front Bedroom 1
Jamie: “This will be the cat’s favourite place to do his sprints.”

Front Bedroom, facing out over the front of the house:
Front Bedroom 2
Jamie: “My air conditioner will totally fit in that window.”

The Head:
Bathroom
Shauna: “Narnia, since it is beyond the closet door”
Jamie: “I hope there’s a fan in there…”

Back Bedroom, toward the Kitchen:
Back Bedroom 1
Shauna: “This is the back bedroom looking into the kitchen. We can’t remember if it had a door or not (the evidence here suggests no), but the room is pretty tiny so we might *gasp* sleep in the same bedroom and use this room as an office. We’ve decided whichever of our beds makes it up the stairs without incident gets to be the bed we sleep in. If they both fit, I dunno, thumb wars? Roller derby?”
Jamie: “Rock, paper, scissors.”

Back Bedroom from Kitchen:
Back Bedroom 3
Shauna: “A corner! This is also the back bedroom.”
Jamie: “This is, in fact, a corner.”

See here, boy, this is how it goes. “Our” kitchen, no air-conditioning, roller derby, MY BED. You can’t skate. It’s all part of my evil plan.

    Rock paper scissors. Pffffft.
