The Drupal Memcache Module 1.0 released – Memcache is good for you.
After two beta releases, I am happy to announce a stable release of the Drupal memcache module. This release fixes several bugs discovered in the beta2 release. This module provides a drop-in replacement for the core cache.inc file that utilizes the memcached library for in-memory storage. This makes your sites really fast.
Drupal 6 is AMAZING – Includes a list of some new features, all of which are welcome and good.
I am following the development of Drupal 6.x, much in the same fashion as a duck in the park eagerly swims along the shore, following the visitor it thinks will soon toss a few crumbs. Only that the crumbs in this case are PHP software, and they’re awesome.
